A dungeon crawler game where choices matter
Dungeon Mori is a premium role-playing PC game by developers Filthy Drawings and Updog Software. It is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler adventure that takes inspiration from classic RPGs. In it, players will stop an army of monsters invading the world and defeat the great dragon who commands them. A demo is available for newcomers to check out.
Monsters and dragons
In Dungeon Mori, monsters have reemerged after being banished long ago. You must stop them and defeat the Great Eternal Dragon. Pick from nine character classes across seven races with unique skills and abilities as you explore 10 unique dungeons and battle over 50 enemy types in turn-based combat. You can even bring a pet on your adventures.
It features choice-based exploration, wherein you get to choose which paths to take as you navigate each dungeon. Face the boss waiting at the end of each or return safely with your loot. On a side note, be aware that the game is still in Early Access, so development is ongoing.
A promising retro RPG
To sum up, Dungeon Mori is a charming homage to classic RPGs that aims to capture the essence of what makes them great. You have multiple classes to suit your play style, strategic turn-based combat, and a choice-based exploration system. Give this one a try and wait for the full release if you like it.
